And its streets are filled with the studios, homes, and landmarks that are monuments to its greatness. Let's go Hollywood backstage and see this unique and fascinating place called Hollywood.

What does Hollywood look like? Well, starting from Hollywood and Vine, you're within walking distance of the famous Capitol Tower. It looks like a stack of records. There's the Hollywood Bowl, where you can enjoy the finest music in the world under the stars or next to the stars. Then there's the studios that are the heart of this motion picture world. And these are just the studios that are within walking distance of downtown Hollywood.  Grauman's Chinese Theatre is a monument to movies. Its forecourt is a testimonial in cement of the stars who have given Hollywood its greatness. 

People come from all over the world to see the foot and hand prints. They're immortalized in the granite of its boulevards--  the great comedians, women of classic beauty, of swinging hips and songs for the young. Its streets are filled with characters who come to share the city's elegance and glamor, and who have given it its unique color.  Its restaurants are known the world over, not entirely for its food but for the famed who frequent them. 

Hollywood is a city of legends, landmarks, and the glamorous celebrities whose fame reaches to every part of the world, wherever movies are shown. Vine Street is the gateway to the city. The welcome sign is always bright. Because if you look at television, or the shimmering silver screen, or come in person, you're a part of a fascinating and unique place called Hollywood, USA.
